19th Annual STOP-DWI Holiday Classic Set To Kick Off December 27th With Slam Dunk and Three Point Contest

 

(Binghamton, NY) The 19th Annual STOP-DWI Holiday Classic will kick off at 3:30 p.m. December 27th with the Slam Dunk and Three Point Contest at Binghamton High School. Admission is $5.00.
 “The Slam Dunk and Three Point Contest is always very popular and draws a standing room only crowd as area residents are eager to see the marquee players and teams that will be competing in the STOP-DWI Holiday Classic” said James F. May, Broome County STOP-DWI Coordinator.
 
The STOP-DWI Holiday Classic is recognized as one of the premier holiday high school basketball tournaments in the country. The STOP-DWI Holiday Classic will again feature an eight team national division and two four team regional divisions. Teams participating include:

Players and teams to note include:
 
Holy Cross High School: Perennial New York City power and former STOP-DWI Holiday Classic Champion (2007) and runner-up (2004).
 
Campbell High School: Lead by All-County Justin Seymour (Jr.) who is highly recruited by ACC schools.
 
Davidson Day School: Featuring Clemson University signee Bernard Sullivan and Furman recruit Keith Belfield.
