Binghamton Bridge Pedal
REGISTER NOW to join the family fun with a police-escorted bike tour around downtown Binghamton and the river corridor areas.
Registration is now open at local bike shops for the 5th annual Binghamton Bridge Pedal, which will take place on Sunday, July 11th from 9 – 11am. A list of participating bike shops is available by clicking the “Binghamton Bridge Pedal” link at www.bmtsonline.com.
Pre-registration is $2, and day of event registration is from 8am to 9am for $3.
A wrist band and a ride map with information about landmark sites will be given to participants upon registration.
The Binghamton Bridge Pedal is a 10 mile bicycle ride starting and finishing at the South Washington Street Bridge. Pedal alongside the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers, across landmark bridges, see historic sites, and rest at local parks. Riders will be in one group and staying together throughout the event.
There will be several stops along the ride route where tour guides from several transportation, cultural, historic, and community organizations will speak about these special historic bridges, local parks, and Binghamton landmark places.
This event will take place rain or shine. Bicycle helmets are required for all participants.
