Brennan Declares State of Emergency
(Dickinson, NY) Broome County Executive Patrick Brennan has ordered no recreational use of the waterways in Broome County.
In order to do this, a Declaration of Emergency had to be made. The specific orders are limited to a prohibition of the use of waterways for recreational purposes, travel on roads where the roadway is partially or completely covered with standing or moving water, and on any premises that is evacuated.
The Sheriff is issuing a travel advisory separately.
