Broome County DMV Sites for Processing Enhanced Driver Licenses

DMV OFFICES PROCESSING
ENHANCED DRIVER LICENSES
Binghamton, NY. – To clear up some confusion for those residents without access to the New York State DMV (www.nysdmv.com) and Broome County (www.gobcclerk.com) internet sites, there are specific Broome County DMV Offices that process Enhanced Driver Licenses for New York State residents.
“All documentation required for this special license have to be captured electronically for Albany,” explains Rick Blythe. “Required documents include your current license or ID, your birth certificate, social security card and two proofs of residence. The only locations in Broome County with the specialized equipment necessary to perform the scanning and authentication are 124 Washington Avenue in Endicott and 181 Clinton Street in Binghamton. In addition to weekdays, both of those offices are open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.”
Please arrive early to allow for completing forms and verifying documentation. As one of the few county DMV offices that have Saturday hours, Saturdays can be very busy so allow for waiting time as well!
We welcome your business and will make every attempt to complete your transactions successfully! Questions about EDLs can be made to NYS DMV (518) 474-9981 or our Broome County public line (607) 778-2337. Leave your name, phone number and a brief message, and we will return your call as soon as possible.
