2012 Rabies Clinics Announced

(BINGHAMTON, NY) – The Broome County Health Department, in conjunction with the Animal Aid and Relief Foundation (A.A.R.F.), has scheduled 20 rabies vaccination clinics to be held throughout Broome County in 2012.

There is no charge for the vaccination, but a donation of $5.00 per pet is appreciated. All pets will be vaccinated regardless of their owner’s ability to donate. Anyone that has a dog, cat, or domesticated ferret that is at least three months old is welcome to bring their pet to a clinic. Pet owners must be in control of their pets while attending the clinic, either on a leash or in a crate.

If your pet has had a rabies vaccination in the past, please be sure to bring their certificate of vaccination with you to the clinic so that your pet can receive a three year vaccination. Without this certification, your pet will receive a one year vaccination.
