Broome County, City of Binghamton, New York State Remember September 11th
(Binghamton, NY) The 8th annual September 11th remembrance ceremony for Broome County will take place on Friday, September 11th at 8:46am (the time of the first airline crash into the Twin Towers). The solemn ceremony will be held in the center parking lot of the Governmental Plaza in downtown Binghamton and is organized by Broome County, New York State and the City of Binghamton.
Local officials, law enforcement, fire and emergency services personnel will be on hand for the flag raising and lowering ceremony. There will be a moment of silence, a twenty-one gun salute and Taps will be played by the Marine Corp. The event is open to the public.
