Computers available to the public

Several libraries in Broome County and surrounding counties have computers available to the public. Following are numbers of computers at each location.  Most libraries only allow 1 hour online per day.  BCPL allows 5 hours per day. All libraries listed below are open during their regular hours of operation.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

BROOME COUNTY

 
Broome County Public Library (607) 778-6451
 
The Broome County Public Library has 65 computers available to the public.
 
BCPL Information Services staff will be available to help people with computer operation and to the extent possible with FEMA applications during the following times.
            Tuesdays through Saturdays  9:00-11:00 a.m. and 2:00-5:00 p.m.
 
            Monday September 19, 2011      5:00-8:00 p.m.

In addition, the library is faxing applications for free if people want to fax their paper application
The Civic Center in Sidney is helping people with FEMA applications on line or on paper.
 
 
 
 

OTSEGO COUNTY

Here is the information that people must provide when filing a claim:
 
household income
Social Security numbers of each member in household
What kind of insurance the person has
Insurers
What kind of damage was sustained
