Farmers Market to Host Child Safety Seat Check

9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
(BINGHAMTON, NY) – Otsiningo Park Farmers Market in cooperation with the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and the Broome County Traffic Safety Program will be holding a child safety seat check event on Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Otsiningo Park, Bevier Street, Binghamton, NY.
This event will include free child safety seat installations by Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians, as well as free educational materials and guidance on child safety seats. No appointment is necessary. Inspections will be done on a first come, first served basis.
Parents and caregivers that plan on attending the event should bring their child, the child safety seat and seat manual, the vehicle the seat will be installed in, and the vehicle manual. The entrance to Otsiningo Park is on Bevier Street near the intersection of Bevier Street and Route 11 in the Town of Dickinson (south of Chenango Street in the City of Binghamton).
