(Maine, NY) County officials organizing the 2009 Greater Binghamton Airshow are seeking local not-for-profit service organizations interested in participating in this year’s event as a fund raising opportunity. 

 

The Airshow is a family event that, since its inception, has become one of the most anticipated summertime events in Broome County.   This year’s show will feature one of the most popular Airshow performances in the country, the United States Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration team that is. 

 

Their participation and performance provides a tremendous opportunity for our community. The Airshow staff is now soliciting local service organizations to assist in various aspects of the Airshow including opportunities with food vending and air show parking services. Parking will be arranged at the Greater Binghamton Airport as well as several off-premise locations. Food vending will be under the direction of the National Concessions Company.
