South Street Bridge closed (County Route 133) in the Town of Barker
South Street, Town of Barker, shall be closed to all through traffic beginning immediately at the South Street Bridge (BIN 3349120). The purpose of the road closure is due to bridge deck deterioration. The rehabilitation is currently in the design phase and construction is anticipated for the summer of 2012.
This bridge is located approximately 400 feet south of the South Street and Pixley Road intersection, and approximately 1.5 miles north and east of the South Street and Cloverdale Road intersection. Traffic entering onto South Street must follow detour signs.
Local traffic may continue to use South Street on either side of the closure except as noted above.
