Staff Development, Planning and Volunteer Office

Unit Description:
Provides employees with the following services:

Staff Development:
Arranges for or provides training as needed for all employees of the department and provides facilitation of all aspects of Organizational Development.

Planning:
Central control point and coordination for the DSS Process Re-engineering effort. Central repository for all DSS process flowcharts, desk procedures and policy/procedures manuals specific to DSS.

Manage the grant writing efforts of the department. Includes grant-seeking and grant-writing to secure additional resources.

Volunteer Services:
Supports and supplements the work of the organization by recruiting volunteers to meet specific organizational needs.
