*   BASIC EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN ORIGINAL COURSE: Begins Monday 8/26/2019. Meets Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 7:50 AM until 11:50 AM and several Saturdays 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Concludes with final State testing, 12/19/2019.  Location: SUNY Broome Community College, (Old) Science Building, Room 207. Instructor/Coordinator:  Gary Bullock, EMT, CIC.


*   BASIC EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN ORIGINAL COURSE: Begins Tuesday 8/27/2019. Meets Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30 PM until 10:30 PM and several Saturdays 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.Concludes with final State testing, 12/19/2019.  Location: SUNY Broome Community College, (Old) Science Building, Room 207. Instructor/Coordinator: Liz Mednansky, EMT, CIC.


*   BASIC EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN ORIGINAL COURSE: Begins Wednesday 8/21/2019. Meets Monday & Wednesdays 6:30 PM until 10:30 PM and several Saturdays 9:00 AM 5:00 PM.Concludes with final State testing, 12/19/2019.  Location: Binghamton University, Science Library, Room 308. Instructor/Coordinator: Laura Kotsubka, EMT-CC, CIC.


*  BASIC EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN REFRESHER AND CERTIFIED FIRST RESPONDER REFRESHER COURSE: Begins Sunday 10/6/2019 (Skills Challenge Pre-testing - Contact the EMS Office to Arrange to Take Written Challenge Exam individually Before 3/8/2019). Meets Saturday & Sunday 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Concludes with final State testing, 12/19/2019. Location: Broome County Public Safety Facility. Instructor/Coordinator: Toni Lou Griffis EMT, CIC.


*   ADVANCED EMT (AEMT) ORIGINAL AND REFRESHER COURSE: Begins Monday 8/19/2019. Meets Mondays  and Thursdays 6:30 PM until 10:30 PM, and one Saturday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM. Concludes with final State testing, 1/16/2020.  Location: Broome County Public Safety Facility, Lower Level EMS Classroom. Instructor/Coordinator: Michael George, NRP, CIC.


Application deadline is the start date of the course, as long as space remains. Applications should be submitted as soon as possible to ensure enrollment in the desired course. 

Most courses are fully state-funded (tuition-free) for those with current, active volunteer or paid affiliations with organizations having NYS EMS agency codes. Consult our Tuition and Fee Policy for details.
