BCC ExCEL's mission is to provide resources and assistance to entrepreneurs so that they will attain and maintain success in their ventures. ExCEL serves all entrepreneurs from start-ups to existing community businesses wishing to expand. Typical services include the following:

Education and Training
In areas including planning, marketing, forecasting, customer service,
market research, selling skills, image, trends, pertinent computer
courses, legal issues, finance, and more.

Consulting
For name selection, logo design, business plan review, how to set up
technology systems, and more

Information and Referral
To local economic development groups and providers, and to resources such
as the Greater Binghamton Innovator's Network.

Entrepreneurs can sign onto a list of over 300 entrepreneurs and others
in the region to promote their business and receive information on free
courses and more!

Networking Opportunities
The Excel Entepreneurial Leadership Society is held quarterly. The Society
features success stories of other local entrepreneurs and the opportunity for
sharing ideas, products, and services. Each year ExCEL holds a regional
Small Business Resource Fair.

E-Commerce Incubator without Walls
Targeted coursework for enterpreneurs who are marketing products and
Services on the Internet.

Programs for Youth
The Amazing Teen Entrepreneurs Institute (for teens ages 13-17) is a
week-long program held in the summer where students learn skills such
as new product development, website marketing, professional dining
etiquette and other entreprenerial skills.
