Ms. Carol Cavalluzzi of the National Names Project Foundation, Syracuse, NY, will present on "How to Make a Panel" for the AIDS Memorial Quilt. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, October 22, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. at the Southern Tier AIDS Program, 122 Baldwin Street, Johnson City, NY, one block from Wilson Hospital.

The AIDS Memorial Quilt is a memorial to remember the men, women and children lost to this epidemic, and each panel tells an individual story. Today the Quilt has more than 44,000 panels and is the largest ongoing community arts project in the world.

In 1987 the National Names Project Foundation was established with a mission to bring an end to AIDS. The Foundation uses the Quilt to:

• Illustrate the enormity of the AIDS epidemic.
• Increase public awareness of AIDS.
• Provide a creative means for remembrance and healing.
• Assist with HIV prevention education.
• Raise funds for community-based AIDS service organizations.
