Health Officials want to Rule Out Human (and Pet) Exposure to Rabies

A rabid cat was found in the area between Round Top Park and Riverside Cemetery south of East Main St. (17C), Endicott. If you, your family members or pets had known contact with a stray cat in this area between July 22, 2011 and August 1, 2011 please call the Broome County Health Department 607.778.2847 from 8:30 a.m. and  5:00 p.m. -- you or your child may have to undergo post-exposure rabies vaccination.
