Rabies Clinic to be Held in Town of Chenango
BINGHAMTON, NY - The Broome County Health Department in conjunction with the Animal Aid and Relief Foundation (A.A.R.F.) will be holding its first rabies clinic for 2010 on Saturday, February 20, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Town of Chenango Fire Station #2 located on 320 Kattelville Road, Binghamton, NY.
Anyone that has a dog, cat, or domesticated ferret that is at least three months old is welcome to bring their pet to the clinic. If your pet has had a rabies vaccination in the past, please be sure to bring their certificate of vaccination with you to the clinic so that your pet can receive a three year vaccination. Without this certification, your pet will receive a one year vaccination. There is no charge for the vaccination but a donation of $5 per pet is appreciated. All pets will be vaccinated regardless of their owner’s ability to donate. Pet owners must be in control of their pets while at the clinic.
A complete schedule of the Broome County Health Department and A.A.R.F. sponsored clinics will be available in mid to late March. To hear the schedule, call the Broome County Health Department information line at 607.778.3911, option 1, or to view the on-line calendar visit the Broome County Health Department’s website at www.gobroomecounty.com/hd.
