Marchie Diffendorf (R) was elected to the Broome County Legislature in November, 2008 and took the Oath of Office on January 1, 2009.  The 7th district includes the Town of Kirkwood and portions of Conklin, Colesville and Windsor.

Mr. Diffendorf has served the Town of Kirkwood in many areas including, Planning Board Chairman, Town Fair Committee, Volunteer Fireman, and Kirkwood Gas Coalition Chairman.

Marchie and his wife Gayle reside at 483 Gorman Rd., Kirkwood.  They are the parents of two daughters, Kelley and Karen and three grandsons, Drew, Jack and Kyle.
