BINGHAMTON, NY - Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007 at 7:30pm, residents, businesses and anyone interested in the Hooper Road Bridge Project will be able to find out more about the upcoming construction project and its impact on travel in the area.

Public Works Commissioner Henry Weissmann says representatives from Broome County, NYSDOT, and the design consultant Barton & Loguidice, P.C. Consulting Engineers, will be available at the meeting to answer questions.

The project is scheduled to get underway this summer and drivers can expect delays. Southbound traffic will be able to use Hooper Road to access the George F. Johnson Highway, but Northbound traffic will have to find alternate routes.

The information session will take place at the Highland Park Gymnasium Building in Endwell, Town of Union.
