The November 14th edition of Hoops USA, a national high school basketball publication, ranked the Broome County STOP-DWI Holiday Classic as one of the top 30 high school basketball events in the United States. Hoops USA reviewed more than 170 events nationally and based rankings on the number of top 100 rated teams and ranked players participating in each tournament. This year's STOP-DWI Holiday Classic has four (4) top 100 ranked teams, three of which are in the top 20 of their respective poll: from the national private/prep school rankings #11 Simon-Gratz (Philadelphia) and #14 Gonzaga (Washington, DC) and representing the national public school poll #18 Rice High School (New York City). . .
