SUMMER SEASON BEGINS FOR BROOME COUNTY PARKS

Saturday, May 27, 2017 marks the beginning of the 2017 summer season for the Broome County Parks, Recreation, and Youth Services Department.  All County Parks will be open, with free admission, from 8:00 AM to Dusk daily through Labor Day, September 4, 2017.  Swimming, picnicking and hiking are free at Greenwood, Dorchester and Nathaniel Cole Parks.  Beaches and boat rentals open at 11:00 AM daily, weather permitting at all three parks; concession stands at Cole and Greenwood open at 11:30 AM.  Overnight camping is available at Greenwood Park.  For further information contact Broome County Parks, Recreation and Youth Services at (607) 778-2193.
