Customers Happy With B.C. Transit Service Improvements

Binghamton, NY Broome County Executive Debbie Preston joined B.C. Transit Commissioner Greg Kilmer and TransPro Consulting Chief Executive Officer Mark Aesch, to announce the results of a September customer satisfaction survey for B.C. Transit.

For the second time this year, when polled, B.C. Transit customers expressed their strong approval of the agency’s new route structure and other transit service features.

Broome County Breaks Ground on Solar Farm

Conklin, NY – Broome County Executive Debbie Preston joined members of the Broome County Legislature, Kevin McLaughlin from the Agency and Dan Leary from SolarCity to break ground on a brand new solar farm in the Town of Conklin.

“Solar power is something I’ve been interested in for quite a long time,” says Broome County Executive Debbie Preston.  “We will be saving the taxpayers money and it won’t cost them anything.”

Broome County Announces Sustainable Energy Loan Program

Binghamton, NY – Broome County Executive Debbie Preston joined a local business, a local non-profit agency, as well as Joe Del Sindaco, PACE finance advisor to Energize NY to announce details of the County’s new Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) finance program.

Broome County will enable Energize NY to provide long term, low cost PACE funding to local businesses and not-for-profit property owners for energy efficiency, and renewable energy projects like solar panel installations and more.
