Online Applications Now Available for NYSEG’s Emergency Economic Development Programs

Rochester, NY – NYSEG now has applications online for its Emergency Economic Development Programs for eligible businesses, municipalities, large residential establishments, agri-businesses and farms affected by Hurricane Irene or Tropical Storm Lee. NYSEG’s request to spend up to $7 million on these programs was approved by the New York State Public Service Commission on October 19.
“Having seen the devastation from these storms first hand, I am confident this new source of funds will be a welcome addition to the many sources of assistance already available,” said Mark S. Lynch, president of NYSEG and RG&E.
