WSKG New Show Features Broome County's Finch Hollow Nature Center

Broome County's Finch Hollow Nature Center is being featured on a new program locally produced by WSKG. 

The show, called Move It! is a half-hour, health and wellness show for families that airs in high definition on local public television. "Episode 2" features a tour of Finch Hollow both inside and out and also the "pond safari" activity that Finch Hollow staff put on.
 
Broome County would like to recognize and salute WSKG for investing in this innovative type programming and the County would also like to thank WSKG for incorporating our treasured Finch Hollow in this episode.   The episode can be viewed by clicking on the link below.
 
This episode features the first Move It! competition. Our two teams get their hands dirty at Finch Hollow Nature Center in Johnson City during a "pond safari" challenge. They fish out pond life, learn about it and then take a quiz to see which team will win. Chef Bob Gannon from Wegmans also cooks up some seafood. Team members learn how to Cool It! with psychologist and yoga teacher Don Glauber as he leads the cast in some relaxation exercises.
