Alcohol Server Training Awareness Program To Be Offered In June

BINGHAMTON, NY - The Broome County Sheriff's Office and the Broome County STOP-DWI Program will be co-sponsoring a TIPS alcohol server training awareness program for area restaurants, hotels, bars and nightclubs.

The TIPS seminar will be held on Monday, June 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Broome County Law Enforcement Academy, Public Safety Building, 155 Lt. Van Winkle Drive, Binghamton, New York (behind Broome Community College).

The program is New York State TIPS certified. The registration deadline for the June 27th TIPS program is June 10, 2005. The cost of the program is $30.00 per person, which includes a student manual and handouts. A complimentary lunch will be served.
