Greater Binghamton Airshow 2004 Kicks-Off The Summer With Advance Ticket Sales
United States Air Force Thunderbirds to headline 2 day event
BINGHAMTON, NY - Summer will not be the only thing taking off Monday, June 21st! Broome County Executive, Jeff Kraham and the sponsors of Greater Binghamton Airshow 2004 will begin the season by announcing the start of ticket sales for the Airshow at a new news conference in the First AIR hangar at the Greater Binghamton Airport at 11:00 a.m., Monday morning.
Greater Binghamton Airshow 2004 is taking off $2.00 from the price of tickets if purchased in advance. For the show on Saturday, July 10th, tickets can be bought at $10.00 per adult (17 and older) and $6.00 per child (8-16 years of age). For Sunday, July 11th tickets purchased in advance will be $10.00 per adult and $6.00 per child. Children under 8 are admitted free on both days. Advance sale Airshow tickets can be purchased at any area Giant Market or go to www.binghamtonairport.com and follow the links to the Greater Binghamton Airshow. At the gate on each day of the event ticket prices will be $12.00 for adults (17 and older) and $8.00 per child (8-16 years of age).
The Greater Binghamton Airshow 2004 is sure to provide entertainment to children of all ages! Awesome aerial performances by the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, the United States Army Special Operations Command Parachute Demonstration Team known as the Black Daggers and a Heritage Flight featuring the A-10 Demonstration Team and a P-51 Mustang, not to mention aerobatic acts and (Warbirds) will thrill spectators. There will be a children's area with arts, crafts, inflatable activities and much more. Historic ground displays, flight simulators, aircraft tours, food vendors and tons more will be available for all to enjoy.
Airshow gates will open both days at 9:00 a.m. with flying tentatively starting about 11:00 a.m. The show will conclude both days at approximately 5:00 p.m. All the performances will take place on both days including the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
