Delta Connection Offers Local Travelers Double Skymiles
BINGHAMTON, NY - Broome County Executive, Jeffrey P. Kraham, announced today that Delta Connection is offering double frequent flier miles to all Delta SkyMiles Members for travel completed by September 30, 2003. Exclusive to the Greater Binghamton Airport, all SkyMiles Members will receive double miles for their travel segments between Binghamton and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. For telephone or travel agent reservations, passengers must mention promotion code 4054 to earn the bonus miles. To make telephone reservations on Delta Air Lines, travelers can call 800.221.1212. Travelers may also request the bonus miles by visiting the Delta website at www.delta.com/deltaoffers/ and click on the Binghamton Promotion.
"This is yet another way that Delta Connection is showing their continued support for our regional airport," stated Broome County Executive Jeff Kraham. "Delta began offering non-stop jet service at the Greater Binghamton Airport in January 2003 and our traveling community has truly benefited from their high-quality product," added Kraham.
The Greater Binghamton Airport has been showing steady increases in passenger enplanements over the last year as a direct result of the increased number of flights and carriers it offers. While many other airports are experiencing decreases in traffic; Greater Binghamton is showing steady growth.
Currently, the Greater Binghamton Airport offers service from 4 of the nation's 6 largest airlines with 44 flights per day (1/3 of these flights utilize new regional jet aircraft) providing convenient service to most domestic and international destinations. The airlines currently serving the Greater Binghamton area include Delta Connection, Northwest Airlink, United Express and US Airways Express.
