Broome County Public Library Honors Teen Volunteers
BINGHAMTON, NY - The Summer of 2004 turned out to be one of volunteerism at the Broome County Public Library. In June the Library asked area teens 12-18 years of age to volunteer a few hours per week to assist with many of the Library's summer programs. The response was overwhelming. Under the leadership of Teen Coordinator, Caitlin Pfaffenbach over 55 local teens donated more than 700 hours of their time to the Broome County Public Library!
In recognition of their hard work and service to community the Library will honor these youth with a party on Tuesday, August 17th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the Dr. G. Clifford and Florence B. Decker Community Room located at the Broome County Public Library, 185 Court Street Binghamton, NY.
