Kraham, Local Officials to Preview 18th Annual Public Auction

BINGHAMTON, NY -- County Executive Jeffrey P. Kraham will join local leaders for a press conference Thursday, September 14th at 1:30 PM in Grippen Park, Endicott to showcase some of the items that will be up for bid at Broome County's 18th annual Auction.

The Broome County Public Auction will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2000 at Grippen Park, South Grippen Avenue, Endicott, New York, for the sale of used and surplus supplies, materials, and equipment. This includes cars, busses, trucks, bicycles, typewriters, computers, file cabinets, etc.

These items are from Broome County government and other local governments and school districts. All items are sold in an "as is" condition and with no express or implied warranties. All items sold are to be removed immediately. Titles to vehicles purchased will be released by the auctioneer as soon as payment is received.

Public inspection of auction items and registration of bidders will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday. The vehicle portion of the Auction (outside of the rink) will start at 10:00 AM. The non-vehicle portion of the Auction (inside the rink) for bicycles, office supplies, and miscellaneous items will begin at 11:30 A.M.
