New Airline Service to LaGuardia Begins Monday
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Broome County Executive Jeffrey P. Kraham announced this afternoon that beginning tomorrow, Monday, September 11th, US Airways will start service to LaGuardia Airport in New York City.
The new service, provided by US Airways Express, will involve four daily round-trip flights between Binghamton and New York City with departure and return times ideal for connections, as well as single-day trips.
"This new service combined with our nearly completed passenger terminal renovation is great news for the increasing number of business and leisure travelers working in the Binghamton region who need easier access to New York City," said Mr. Kraham.
US Airways and US Airways Express will now offer 15 flights per day from the Greater Binghamton Airport to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and LaGuardia Airport. From these portals, passengers will have convenient one-stop access to popular business and vacation destinations both domestic and international.
