Broome County To Host 21st Annual Broome-Tioga County Public Auction
BINGHAMTON, NY - Broome County Executive, Jeffrey P. Kraham, Tioga County Legislative Chairman, Marty Borko and auctioneer, Cash Cunningham will hold a press conference to announce the details of the 21st Annual Broome-Tioga County Public Auction. The press conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 12th at Grippen Park, South Grippen Ave., Endicott, NY.
The annual auction is a collaborative effort between Broome County and Tioga County governments and their participating political subdivisions and school districts. This year's auction will offer some unique items for sale; a 1953 fire truck from Johnson City, a 1979 Corvette, 1993 Cadillac, fire call boxes, over 100 bicycles and 5 jail cells from the former Johnson City Jail. Numerous other unwanted or surplus materials and equipment will also be for sale. Last year's auction realized gross revenue of $241,576.00.
The auction will be held Saturday, September 13th at 10:00 a.m. Auction preview and bidder registration begins at 8:00 a.m., Saturday morning. Additional information is available at www.gobroomecounty.com or http://www.cashrealty.com/home.asp.
