New Broome Public Library to Host Ribbon Cutting and Open House, Friday, November 3rd
BINGHAMTON, N.Y - Jeffrey Kraham, Broome County Executive, Lynne Lacey, President, the Broome Library Board of Trustees, and Daria Golazeski, President, the Broome Library Foundation, cordially invite the public to a ribbon cutting and open house Friday, November 3rd at 1:00 PM.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be followed by an open house that will take place from approximately 1:30 PM till 5:00 PM. Friends of the library and library staff will be conducting tours throughout this spectacular new facility located at 185 Court Street in downtown Binghamton.
The new Broome Public Library includes expanded space for activities, a wonderful new area for children, a new local history genealogy department sponsored jointly with the Broome County Historical society, and plenty of parking for patrons.
The new Broome Public Library will open to the public for regular hours beginning Monday, November 6th at 9:00 AM. The Broome Public Library will be open from
9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the Library will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
