Executive Fiala Encourages Everyone to Get Out and Vote Tuesday
BINGHAMTON, NY - Broome County Executive Barbara J. Fiala says it is every citizen’s right to vote and she is encouraging everyone who is eligible to exercise that right. Broome County voters have a number of elections to consider including local town & village races, county legislative races and New York Senate and Assembly races. Voters will also be choosing a state comptroller, attorney general and governor.
“Many people feel their vote just doesn’t count and that is absolutely not true,” said Executive Fiala. “I won a primary race by only eleven votes so I know first hand that every vote does indeed matter!”
Broome County polls are open from 6am until 9pm, Tuesday, November 7th. Anyone with last minute questions about polling locations or anything election related can contact the Broome County Elections Office at 607.778.2172.
