Final Public Health Flu Clinic For The 2000 - 2001 Flu Season

BINGHAMTON, NY - The Broome County Health Department has completed the regularly scheduled flu clinics, which targeted high-risk individuals. The Health Department has enough flu vaccine remaining to offer a community-wide flu clinic. We are able to provide flu shots to anyone ages 9 and up.

This final flu clinic will take place on

Wednesday, January 3rd from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., while supplies last, at the Broome County Health Department, 225 Front Street, Binghamton, NY.

We encourage anyone over sixty-five or those not yet sixty-five but having chronic health problems, to come to this clinic.

Additionally, anyone in the community who wants to prevent the flu and has not gotten the flu shot can attend this clinic. Medicare Part B will pay for the flu shot. Individuals must present their Medicare Card. All other people will be charged an $8.00 fee. We are unable to provide receipts.

There is plenty of free parking at the Health Department building, located at the corner of Front and Clinton Streets. Broome County Transit buses #7 and #8 stop at the Health Department. This is a walk-in clinic; no appointments will be taken.
