Records Management

Located at 1 Floral Avenue, Binghamton, NY the Broome County Records Management Division provides guidance and expertise to County departments:

  • Determine record disposition and retention
  • Review requests for storage of records
  • Coordinate imaging/micrographics projects for County departments
  • Ensure compliance with State & Federal records guidelines

Major division objectives include reducing the volume of paper for all County departments, continuing to scan departmental records series to CD/microfilm to provide easier retrieval of records and proper storage of archival and inactive records.
