Do You Know a Relative or Friend Suffering from Dementia or Alzheimer's?

-A A +A

Social interaction and stimulating activities have been proven beneficial for people experiencing short term memory loss associated with dementia.  The Yesteryears Adult Day Program offers these social opportunities and stimulating, fun activities in a safe, structured environment. All activities encourage successful participation, promote confidence and self-worth, personal accomplishments, and enjoyment.

Furthermore, the program is affordable! For Broome County residents ages 60 and over, there is a suggested contribution of $20.00 per day; this covers the program and a lunch at noon.

We have two locations; Binghamton and Endwell.  Both are open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day (but drop-off and pick-up times are flexible within these hours.).

Here are comments that family caregivers have said about our program:

“My wife really looks forward to going to Yesteryears.  She was a social person before she got Alzheimer’s.  By attending the adult day program, she is socially connected to new friends and it gives me some time for myself”- Sam

“Dad didn’t want to go to the first or second visit. But with the information that the staff provided, we were able to get through the difficult beginning period.  Now he loves going.”- Mrs. B
