You can join others who are interested in maintaining health and physical fitness. There are lots of options. Our bone saver class on Monday and Wednesday mornings helps strengthen bones and tone muscles. For a change of pace, you can do chair exercises to music on Tuesdays and Thursdays; these include stretches and head-to-toe exercises that will keep you limber. On Fridays, we turn up the music for our line dance class lead by Joni Duff; this is a fun work-out and great music to boot!
We have an exercise room where you can use a treadmill, bike, free weights or a variety of other easy-to-use equipment.
How about sports and games? We have lots of opportunities to offer in this arena, too. Wednesday afternoons are set aside for those who want to play floor shuffleboard; on Thursdays it’s Ping Pong. And you can play Bingo, billiards or pinochle every day.
Have you tried Nintendo Wii yet? It’s available any time the center is open. The most popular game so far is bowling, but tennis, baseball, and golf are options. And the new Wii Fit system will be demonstrated soon; plan to join us to learn how to use this exercise system safely.
If all that exercise has made you hungry, join us for Breakfast-for-Lunch every Monday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. We have delicious breakfast choices weekly with specials twice a month. Our Philly cheese steak sandwich lunch is offered the third Thursday of every month. No reservations are needed for either of these meals.
