Resolve to be Warm and Well in '17

Many of us are active all year round but when the cold winter months’ start rolling in we start rolling to the couch.  Or for those of us that haven’t been active this year but want to start the new year off right we have ways so that it does not have to be a challenge to exercise and be physically active during this winter or anytime!

So, don’t give up on old man winter, and start 2017 off by spending some time finding fun, different ways to exercise.  Your options are endless, you can try floor shuffleboard, line dancing, indoor walking at our local schools, ping pong, yoga, Zumba or swimming classes just to name a few. 

Do we have you hooked?  Well here’s an easy way to get started: first check with your health care provider to see if you should avoid any specific exercises.  Then check out our website at for a list of all the health & wellness activities that the Office for Aging has to offer.  Try a few different things and find an activity that you will enjoy, if you don’t enjoy it you won’t stick with it.
