 What Caregivers Need to Know:
IRS Recordkeeping and Recording  

Family caregivers are invited to attend a presentation on Wednesday, January 31 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM at the Broome West Senior Center, 2801 Wayne Street, Endwell.  “What Caregivers Need to Know: IRS Recordkeeping and Recording” will be presented by Karen McMullen of Levene Gouldin & Thompson, LLP.

With the tax season just around the corner, we will discuss the following topics: What records and documents are needed for income tax reporting, and how long should you keep these documents?  If you hire an aide, what is deductible on your tax return?  Additional information on paid aides and taxes will be covered, as well as various topics relating to tax season and caregiving.
