Discover New Possibilities with Meals on Wheels

-A A +A

If you have difficulty preparing hot, nutritious meals for yourself due to a health condition, illness or injury, you may want to consider receiving home-delivered meals through the Meals on Wheels program.

Each weekday around noon, volunteers deliver a hot lunch and cold supper to participants’ doors. Volunteers also provide a quick check on how participants are doing, which can bring peace of mind and increased sense of security. Meals are prepared to meet 2/3 of dietary requirements, per U.S Dietary Guidelines. A variety of delicious meals are served each week. There are no income requirements for the program.  For more information, please call the Broome County Office for Aging at (607) 778-2411.
