The Broome County Health Department wishes to remind people that outdoor burning of debris is a violation of state law in New York.

For information about collection of flood debris, you may want to contact your hauler or your Town / Village / City or whoever ordinarily picks up your garbage.  Please remember that flood debris should be kept separate from household garbage, both of which should also be kept separate from household hazardous waste such as paint and petroleum products.
