Mercury

Thermometers, old paint (before 1990), fluorescent light bulbs, pilot light sensors, barometers, some toys, clothes irons with automatic shut-off, blood pressure cuffs, antique mirrors, and grandfather clocks all contain mercury.  This is not an exhaustive list but includes many of the common household products mercury is found in.
