Updated list of boil orders effective 9pm Saturday 9/10/11
Boil Water Order for those locations listed below who utilize municipal water (public) in Broome County as of 9:00 PM on Saturday 9/10/2011. Water Boil Orders will remain until notice is provided.
**NOTE THAT THE TOWN OF UNION IS NOT UNDER A BOIL WATER ADVISORY**
ALL City of Binghamton
ALL Town of Binghamton
ALL Town of Dickinson,
ALL Village of Johnson City and Choconut Center
ALL Village of Windsor
Town of Chenango (specifically the Front Street corridor & all side streets from Forest Hills Blvd. to the town hall)
These places in the Village of Endicott- specifically any houses in the West Corners area, Day Hollow Road, Betty St., Rodman Rd., Flora St., and Boswell Hill Rd. area that lost water
Vestal Water District #5 – specifically, Ross Hill Road, Tracy Creek Road, Norris Avenue, Arlington Avenue, Westland Road, Eastland Road, Midland Drive, Clifford Boulevard, Culver Parkway, Avalon Drive, Arbor Place, Parkview Avenue, Vestal Parkway West from Owego Road to Tioga County line, Owego Road to just east of Chucksters.
Bring tap water to a rolling boil, boil for one minute, and cool before using. Or use bottled water certified for sale by the New York State Department of Health. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food until further notice.
