Broome County Health Department Issues Public Health Statement April 16

(TOWN OF DICKINSON, NY) The Broome County Health Department has learned an employee of the Mirabito Convenience Store located at 879-881 Upper Front St. in Binghamton has tested positive for COVID-19.

If you were in the store on April 3rd from 5:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. or April 4 from 6:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. we ask you to self-quarantine and contact your healthcare provider if you develop symptoms. Symptoms of COVID-19 include cough, fever and shortness of breath.

The 14-day incubation period will be over on April 18th. The person has not worked since April 4th and did not work while symptomatic.

The Broome County Health Department received the positive test result Thursday morning.

Broome County officials remind you to stay home, avoid contact with others and if you feel sick and do not need immediate assistance please contact your healthcare provider via phone or virtual health with questions prior to heading to the emergency room.
