In 2019, Broome County issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking an innovative and well qualified team for development of the Broome County Local Waterfront Revitalization Program and a related River Trails Plan. The project is funded through a grant obtained from the NYS Department of State Local Waterfront Revitalization Program under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund. The purpose of the plan is to provide Broome County and our partners with an updated framework for the management of our waterfront areas county-wide, building upon the existing 2011 Intermunicipal Waterfront Access Plan.
