    • An appointment is required; no walk ins will be accepted.
    • Call 211 (or 1 800 901 2180, if not a Broome County resident) to start the appointment process
    • Copies will be made of all tax documents
    • Must have a working phone number or email address
    • After you contact 211, you will be contacted by an AARP representative to determine how they can best serve you.

    • As of September 14, all appointments must be made online using the following link: https://broomecountyclerk.setmore.com/
    • As of July 19, Broome County DMV offices will be assisting customers by appointment only for all in person transactions. Visitors must practice social distancing and wear a mask. 
      • For Binghamton call 607-778-6513 - open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the last transaction will occur at 3:45 p.m
      • For Endicott call 607-754-2147 - open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the last transaction will occur at 3:45 p.m.  Saturday hours will be from 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the last transaction at 12:15 p.m.
    • Appointments will be scheduled back to back, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment so staff can check your paperwork. 
    • During business hours if you receive a busy signal, please call back or you can receive a return call if you leave a message during off hours.
    • Some transactions are not required to be done in person, the following can be done through mail or using the drop box
      • all original vehicle registrations and plate transfers
      • license plate surrenders
      • sales tax only transactions
      • license and registration renewals (online option available)
      • replacement of lost documents (online option available)

    • Drop off boxes for local DMV transactions are available at the following locations:

      • Broome West Senior Center (2801 Wayne St., Endwell): Monday through Friday from Noon to 2:00pm
      • Eastern Broome Senior Center (27 Golden Lane, Harpursville): Monday through Friday from Noon to 2:00pm
      • First Ward Senior Center (226 Clinton St., Binghamton): Monday through Friday from Noon to 2:00pm
      • Johnson City Senior Center (30 Brocton St., Johnson City): Monday through Friday from Noon to 2:00pm
      • Northern Broome Senior Center (12 Strongs Place, Whitney Point): Monday through Friday from Noon to 2:00pm

    • Assistance for Northern Broome residents 60+ years of age living in the towns of Lisle and Triangle (including the Village of Whitney Point).
    • Services offered include a place to call for support, regular check-ins via phone, assistance with getting food or prescriptions, and taxi service available in Whitney Point area on Friday afternoons.
