    • providing services over the phone and participants will receive their benefits remotely.  Participants are urged to call the local WIC office at 607.778.2881 with any questions/ concerns or to update their contact information.

      • help connect families to the WIC Program in both Broome and Delaware counties
      • can prescreen for potential eligibility, give information about the program, go over/gather documents needed, and set up an initial appointment. I also have many other community resources to share depending on what someone may need.

  • The Kinship Program 607-723-8313 x831
    • serving anyone raising someone else’s children in Broome and Tioga counties
    • still completing intakes with new families and completing the paperwork for the Nonparent caregiver grant and taking it to DSS for them. This gives caregivers financial assistance for any child that resides with them as long as the child is not getting income from somewhere else and the parents do not reside in the home. 
    • We are delivering food, hygiene items, hand sanitizer to Kinship families daily as needed
    • 3 virtual support groups running:
      • Broome County
        • every other Thursday at 5:30 pm
        • every other Wednesday at 11am
      • Tioga county the group is Fridays at 1pm
