In Partnership with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County we present our Summer 2023 Agricultural Municipal Training Series!
This summer we hosted a series of virtual municipal trainings in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome. In total we trained 44 number of municipal officials representing local zoning boards, code enforcement boards, planning boards or other interested parties. This represented 76.5 number of training hours. Final numbers for each training are below.
- An Update on the Broome County Ag & Farmland Protection Plan & Broome County Ag Needs Assessment – 12 from Broome County Municipal Boards;
- Balancing Renewable Energy Development and Agricultural Development – 21 from Broome County Municipal Boards; and
- Understanding the Farm Friendly Scorecard and How to Use it in Guiding Ag Development – 11 from Broome County Municipal Boards
