The Broome County Department of Solid Waste Management is
accepting grant applications for the Community Beautification and Environmental Stewardship
Grant Program. These mini grants offer a range of funding based on project scope and funding
availability.
Funding is up to $2,500 to communities, non-profits, and schools to encourage community
beautification and environmental stewardship.
Eligible project opportunities must focus on one of the following:
• Litter prevention
• Waste reduction
• Recycling
• Beautification
• Community greening- street plantings
• Composting
• Community gardens
Applications are due by November 10th, 2023, before 3:00pm and must be emailed to
debra.smith@broomecountyny.gov
