Clinical breast exams, mammograms, PAP tests and limited diagnostic follow-up procedures to detect breast and cervical cancer are available at no cost for uninsured or underinsured women, age 50 and over.

Colorectal Cancer Screening And Prostate Cancer Education Program
Colorectal cancer screening test kits are available at no cost for high-risk, uninsured or underinsured, income eligible individuals age 50 and over. Prostate cancer information and educational sessions are available at no cost to community groups and work sites.

Diabetes Prevention and Control Program
A program of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention and the New York State Department of Health - The Southern Tier Diabetes Coalition represents Broome, Chenango, Delaware and Tioga counties. The main objectives of this coalition include raising public awareness about diabetes, pre-diabetes, maintenance, and prevention of the disease and/or the complications caused by diabetes.

Adolescent Tobacco Use Prevention
Compliance checks of tobacco retailers are conducted by staff and youth volunteers. Retailers are prohibited from selling tobacco to minors.
