BINGHAMTON, NY - The Broome County Department of Public Works announced today that a portion of West Chenango Road, in the Town of Chenango will be closed to all traffic for a culvert replacement project beginning Monday, September 13th at 7:00 a.m. It is anticipated that the road will reopen on Monday, September 20th at 3:30 p.m. Local traffic may continue to use West Chenango Road except during the time noted.

The culvert is located approximately 0.50 miles west of the Brooks Road intersection with West Chenango Road. A detour will be signed utilizing Brooks Road, Swift Road, Hand Road and Kolb Road. For additional information please contact the Broome County Department of Public Works at 607.778.2909.
